Hello, friends! Mod here.

First, I want to say that I'm very happy about the growth of the kink meme~! I've seen some lovely prompts, and have even read the fills posted here :D I'm glad everyone is enjoying themselves :)

That aside, I've reconsidered the spoiler policy after getting some feedback from an anon and consulting a few of my friends. I don't think we're ready to go spoiler-free just yet—while I understand that common sense dictates waiting until one finishes the game to go check out fandom spaces, I always like to err on the side of caution!

With that being said, I acknowledge that the ROT13 can be a little clunky :'D Even when navigating myself, it gets a little frustrating, especially on mobile ~~when I'm reading prompts at work~~. I apologize for any inconvenience to those who feel similarly!

So, I've made the decision to strike the "all spoilers must be encoded" rule, beginning today (August 2nd). It has been a month since the game released, and as the kink meme gains more traffic, I want to keep things as neat and as readable as possible.

As for dead dove, the rule will remain the same: encoding is optional, but tagging in the subject line of your post is non-optional.

The rules+FAQ will be updated to reflect these changes, as well as to provide additional warnings the possibility of non-encoded spoilers and dead dove content.

The mod is a long-time smut appreciator and unfortunately long-time Date Kaname appreciator. With the release of AINi, the kink meme will provide a place for people to post prompts, fill prompts, and make content for our beloved V/N! Here are some FAQs and the rules, updated as of August 3rd, 2022.

FAQs

What is a kink meme?

A kink meme is a place where people anonymously post prompts that they would like to see, and anonymous people fill those prompts. That's the long and short of it! Of course, you don't HAVE to post exclusively anonymously...but it does add a fun bit of mystery :D

Do the prompts have to be "kinky"?

No! Despite the name, SFW and NSFW prompts are allowed. Get as freaky as you want. Get as not-freaky as you want. Have a blast.

What are the procedures for filling a prompt?

So, you find a prompt you like. You make something for it! You can tell OP that you're working on it if you want, but you don't have to (especially if you don't know if you'll finish). After you make the thing, you reply to OP with a link to the thing you made, or the thing itself if you want to only post it directly to Dreamwidth. It's also preferred that you add it to the fills post, too, so we can make a beautiful archive of all the things we've made!

Do I have to fill a prompt to make a prompt?

Who am I, the cops? lol. No, you don't HAVE to, but I certainly urge you to try! You'd be surprised how fun it is to make things for other people and see their reactions, and it also just feels a lot better to give as much as you get...but nobody is keeping track!

As for this particular kink meme, will spoilers be allowed?

Yes, ~~because mod has spoilery ships they want to see content of.~~

Spoilers for both games will be allowed, unencoded, as of 08/02/2022. Posts from July may be encoded with ROT13—decoding and encoding alike are discussed in the rules.

What about "dead dove" content?

Also allowed. Go nuts—but PLEASE content warn in the title of your post for things such as necro, underage, incest, non/dubcon, etc., and anything else you feel might need a content warning! I would rather you "over"-warn than underwarn. As with spoilers, "dead dove" does not need to be encoded, but feel free to do so! (This last bit is subject to change based on kinkmeme user feedback.)

The following things can be considered "dead dove" content:

rape/noncon

dubcon (through drugging, drinking, somnophilia etc)

drug use

grooming

underage/lolicon/shotacon

abuse

gore

slurs/bigotry etc

snuff

incest

beastiality

RULES

1. Don't yuck someone else's yum. If you don't like a prompt, scroll past it. Do not, under any circumstances, "fill" someone's prompt with their do-not-writes or change characters erroneously. Try to avoid prompts that may come across as character/ship-bashing (cheating, angst, etc. are all allowed—just don't cross the line).

2. All prompts must be related to the AI: The Somnium Files series. Crossovers with other series, AUs, and what-ifs are all welcome!

3. Post dead-dove content with proper warnings. Dead dove content needs to have a CW in the title, but does not have to be encoded. Tag for underage, incest, non/dubcon, necro, and anything else you can think of that someone might not want to see unexpectedly. Please put CWs in the title like so: "CW noncon, underage" (or something similar, so long as the message gets across).

You may also encode prompts if you wish, and you will find that some spoilery prompts from July are encoded, in addition to various dead dove prompts. Encoding and decoding can be done at rot13.com. The site is very straightforward: you input your prompt into the text, and it will give you what looks like a jumble of random text. People who are okay with seeing the content that is warned for can pop that text back into the site and see your prompt! If you wanna give it a try, go decode this to see a shameful confession from the mod: Qngr Xnanzr yvirf erag-serr va zl fvyyl yvggyr oenva.

4. Requests may be filled more than once! Don't be shy because someone "beat you to it". We're here to have fun!

5. On the other hand, please don't post the same request twice. The odds of this kink meme becoming so overwhelmingly large that your request gets absolutely buried and demolished in the masses is...relatively low. If ninety days goes by with no responses, then you may repost. Otherwise, your reposted prompt will be deleted.

6. All original posts must be prompts. Feel free to chat about a fill or a prompt for a bit, but this is not an anon meme (although I'm not opposed to someone else making one...). Try and keep the board to fills and prompts!

7. Prompts can be fic, art, or anything else you can think of that will fulfill the letter and spirit of the prompt. You can feel free to request a certain type, but it's best not to limit yourself!
